Hi, I'm Helen, an illustrator, storyteller and educator with a particular interest in visual literacy and the use of comics in education.
I used to be an archaeological researcher and my fascination with the material culture of the past often works its way into my work. I'm the creator of various comics set across time and space such as The Art of Monsters, Breaking the Lore and Earth in a Pocket.

I especially love working with museums, universities and heritage organisations, creating illustrations, educational comics and graphic novels, so don't hesitate to get in touch!
Books and Comics
One of the things I love about the internet is how easy it is to share stories without financial or physical barriers. As a result I try to make as much of my work available to read for free online as possible.

You can also buy some of my books and comics in hard copy too, because sometimes you just need that new-book-smell in your life.
